Colonel Lee Reynolds

Interview Preparation Coach

As a former Army Public Affairs Officer, Colonel Reynolds is an expert when it comes to preparing candidates for Service Academy and ROTC scholarship interviews. His guidance helps students change their perspective to answer questions as future officers and leaders, exactly the type of responses the Academies are looking for.

Captain Trish Dach

Service Academy Coach

A graduate of the Air Force Academy Class of 2011, I have helped dozens of students win appointments to Service Academies, guiding them throughout the entire process and reducing student and parent stress.

The progress we make with your child is simply unbelievable. We look forward to working together!

Frequently Asked Questions

When should we start working with your team?

We begin working with students two months out from their first interview date - which is usually summer or fall of their Senior year of high school. The first meeting is one month before we get into serious preparation with your student. However, you can purchase this service and plan out future interview coaching anytime from junior year onward.

What all is included in this service?

One month of intensive hour-long interview coaching sessions prior to your student's first event. We also prepare students for their Congressional nomination interviews with refresher sessions prior to those events. We work with your student as many times as necessary to get their performance up to par, however most students need 3-4 initial sessions.

What does my student need to do to be successful in the interview?

While we help your child prepare, your child must commit to additional preparation outside of our sessions. After each session, we provide guidance on what to practice and research in-between sessions. In order to get the most from our coaching, this additional practice is necessary.

How important is the interview to my child's success?

It depends! A variety of factors impact how important your child's interviews are. While liaison officer interviews are important, the unknown factor is often the Congressional nomination. Depending on the competitiveness of your Congressional district, your student may need to perform extremely well just to get a nomination. In other districts, there is virtually no competition and they simply need to meet the minimums to earn a nomination. However, the method your Member of Congress uses to nominate students (ranked or unranked) greatly impacts the importance of interview performance.

Who will my student be working with?

Your student will either be prepping with Captain Trish Dach or Colonel Lee Reynolds
